Mike Welch, project manager, is a certified biomedical equipment technician (CBET) and certified radiology equipment specialist (CRES). Prior to joining LTP in 2007, he was the Midwest service engineer for Accuray, an image-guided robotic radio-surgery company and installer for their Cyberknife products. Mike has clinical experience in the biomedical engineering department at Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis and worked as an installation and service specialist for GE, Siemens, Picker, Imatron, and Accuray. Besides working in hospitals throughout the United States, he also has performed major equipment installations in China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore.
Mike is a graduate of Ivy Tech Community College with an Associate of Applied Science degree and has completed additional studies at IUPUI in biomedical electronics.
