This facility is adding a neurosurgery suite to its array of services.  In addition to recruiting a renowned neurosurgeon to head the department, the hospital administrators need to equip the surgical suite for this type of medical service.  LifeStructures Technology Planning has researched what equipment is necessary and is working with the neurosurgeon and St. Vincent’s to determine which equipment is preferred and is on the hospital’s purchase plan.  Once specific equipment has been ordered, we will work closely with facility personnel to make sure the equipment is properly installed and tested before the new area is open for patients.  The result is a notable neurosurgeon equipped with the latest technological tools, bringing an exciting new level of patient care to St. Vincent’s.
